Colt foal by Pink Floyd VDL - Mr Vain

Colt foal born 18/5 by Pink Floyd VDL - Mr Vain - Cortez Very friendly and social boy, correct in legs and angles, nice hooves. Moves nicely. Goes on large hilly pastures, has spent the occasional night inside, has been transported a bit, has been good to trim. Started life with meconium impaction so spent a day at Husaby, during the same time an ultrasound of the navel was done (clear) as the mare was standing when he came out. No problems after being declared healthy. Not shown at the foal inspection as a horse in the stable had a fever that weekend. The mother is four years old and was bred by me. Started under saddle uncomplicated but not trained. The grandmother I trained regularly in both jumping and dressage but competed sparingly. Pink Floyd VDL, who won the performance test in 2024, was chosen because his qualities complemented the mare well! Insured with Dunstan Chipped with temperature chip Brother, by Nebraska VDL, to the mother is available to see at home Colt herd/young horse herd may possibly be offered after weaning
