About BTB Stud

Heritage, individual, environment

At BTB Stud, breeding is a craft passed down through generations – in the conviction that the right genes, under the right conditions, produce horses that can reach the top of the sport.

The heritage

Decades of deep understanding of what makes a horse a winner – not only pedigree and performance, but the character, the body and the calm needed to last.

The horse at the centre

Each individual is followed all the way – from the young horse’s first years, through matching with the right rider, into established sport and on into breeding. No shortcuts.

The breeding aim

Sound, healthy stallions with the quality for the biggest classes – combined with the kind, stable character and the refined looks that make them an asset in both sport and breeding.

“When things don’t go to plan you cannot blame the horse. You have to look at what you as a rider could have done better – that is the only way to improve.”
— Marcus Ehning
